At Spectrum Behavioral Care, we are dedicated to helping autistic adults build independence, manage emotions, and thrive. Our outpatient programs are structured, full- or half-day treatment programs that support real-life progress through therapy, skill-building, and social connection.
Why Families Turn to Spectrum Behavioral Care
Parents and family members are often the first to notice when their young adults on the spectrum need more help navigating adulthood. When child and adolescent-based services end, many families are left asking: Now what? We understand the challenges families and young adults face, and we are here to partner with you through the process.
We offer a trusted next step.
Spectrum Behavioral Care provides evidence-based outpatient programs built specifically for autistic adults. Our team helps each individual develop emotional skills, communication tools, and greater self-sufficiency in a compassionate and supportive setting.
We are an out-of-network provider and we will help families navigate insurance billing challenges. Ask us how!
Our Programs
We offer multiple levels of care to meet people where they are:

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
-
Full-day care (5 days/week)
-
Duration: about 30 days
-
Our most structured option—most individuals step down to IOP afterward

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
-
Half-day care (several days/week)
-
Duration: 60–90 days
-
Offers ongoing support with more flexibility than PHP

Each program includes a combination of:
-
Group therapy
-
Individual therapy
-
Life and social skills training
-
Family support
-
Academic and vocational readiness
We integrate various therapeutic models depending on individual needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) -DBT-informed techniques, mindfulness practices, and experiential therapies that promote emotional growth and everyday success.
